Review of Burn The Fat Program

Filed under: News and Views - 27 Dec 2008

There has been quite a bit of buzz about this new fat burning program on the internet.  Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle is an eBook available for download that claims to help people not only lose fat, but add definition to their bodies as well.  We wanted to find out how it works, so we did some research about the program and found out about the results.

First, the fact that the program was created by Tom Venuto impresses us.  You probably recognize Venuto’s name as one of the premier natural body builders and nutritionists around today.  He is well respected in his field, which made us even more curious about the program.  We were very interested to see what he came up with.

The first thing we noticed about this program is it is not based on fad diets.  After looking the program over and researching people who have used it, we realized this plan is not based on junk science or fast fat loss tricks.  Instead, the people who benefited from it said they were able to do so because of the way it helped them change their eating habits.

The program works to give people the exercise and nutrition they need to burn fat and lose weight.  Therefore, it is not a quick fix.  It is a way of life, and many users have great success with it.

People who were willing to put in the work really liked this program.  They were pleased that it helped them live their lives in a healthier way.

Based on the reviews of Burn The Fat as well as user feedback collected, we recommend this program for people who want to change their lives in order to lose fat.  It helps people become healthier, lose fat, and look more sculpted. It is worth a try for anyone who is willing to dedicate themselves to getting in better shape.

Is Fat Loss 4 Idiots A Scam?

Filed under: News and Views - 26 Dec 2008

We heard about a new diet plan called Fat Loss 4 Idiots (FL4I).  There has been a lot of buzz about this fat loss program.  After hearing people talking about how they were able to lose weight without working very hard, we decided to get some more information about this.

The food was the first thing we noticed when we looked into this program.  Most of the people who used FL4I were really happy about having so many food choices.  We found that people were able to eat almost anything they wanted.

The people who were successful with this diet ate four meals a day, every three hours or so.  Most of them claimed they were not hungry and they started to lose weight quickly.  We found the average weight loss for the first week on this diet to be at six pounds.  After that, people continued to lose around the same amount of weight.

We did some research and learned more about this plan.  Fundamentally, the diet is able to work for most users because it tricks the metabolism.  Most dieters do not know it, but when you eat a particular food on a regular basis, your metabolism begins to expect it.  That’s what makes your body hold onto weight.

So with this plan, they provide you with different kinds of foods to choose.  Then, your metabolism does not know what to expect.  The metabolism speeds up like crazy, which then results in weight loss.

It’s usually known as “calorie shifting.  ” With this program you calorie shift for 11 days, and then you get to cheat for three days. Because of the science behind it, users don’t need to change up their lifestyles or eating habits very much at all.

Based on the Fat Loss 4 Idiots reviews as well as customer feedback collected, we were definitely impressed by this program.  It is not often that we see something that really works without changing your lifestyle in a great way, and when we do, we like to pass it on.  We are definitely giving FL4I our approval.

Things You Should Know About Different Types Of Diet Plans

Filed under: News and Views - 20 Dec 2008

It seems that a new fat loss diet program is brought to the market every other day, making consumers’ choices almost mind-boggling. These plans can range from fast detox programs that only last a few weeks to long term lifestyle changes. If you are looking to choose one of these popular new diets, it is best to know just what is involved and how they work before making a decision about which to use. Regardless of which you select, remember to consult with your doctor or other medical professional before beginning any diet programs.

Detox Diets

Often see on talk shows and in magazines, detox diet plans seem to be all the rage. These short term diet and fat loss plans are very strict, but promise fast results. Detox diets help to cleanse the body and rid your digestive system of toxins. One of the extra side effects of a detox plan is rapid weight loss due to decreased food consumption. While these plans can be effective for short term, quick fat loss, you should not continue on these programs longer than recommended.

Low Carb Diets

One of the biggest diet and weight loss trends in recent years is the use of low carb diets for fast results. These diets promote eating smaller amounts of carbohydrates, which will cause your body to burn fat instead of relying on carbs for energy. These plans are often recommended by doctors because they are generally effective, however close monitoring by a physician is recommended when using these plans. Fast weight loss is usually achieved at first, however those who try to return to a normal eating plan can gain back as fast as they lost.

Vegetarian Diets

For hundreds of years, different cultures have used vegetarian diets for many reasons. These diet and weight loss plans can be helpful and relatively safe, if those who choose a vegetarian lifestyle are careful in their menu planning. Should you choose one of these diet plans, be sure to find plenty of source of protein to fuel your body properly. This should include both complete and incomplete proteins, such as beans, soy, and nuts in order to stay healthy. Though you can lose weight on these diets, more often they are a social or political lifestyle choice.

Balanced Diets

The safest diet and weight loss programs are those who endorse balanced diets. Balanced diets, paired with a regular workout program are the doctor recommended way to get rid of fat safely. These diets should include plenty of vegetable and fruit components, lean protein sources and whole grains and fibers. You can follow the Food Pyramid or get sample menu plans from a dietician or doctor. Losing weight with a balanced diet can be a slow process, but if you stick to the program, it’s the most healthful way to eat long term.

Selecting a fat loss diet plan can be hard, but with research and education you can find a plan that will work for you. Your best bet is to talk about your weight issues with your doctor and get his or her opinion. Together you can decide which popular diet plan is the right one for you.

All About Low Fat Diets for a Weight Loss Treatment

Filed under: News and Views - 13 Dec 2008

This year, 13 million Americans will die of heart disease. This year, 40% of the people with suffer from metabolic failure. For these people, modifying their lifestyle with more exercise, cholesterol lowering strategies and adhering to a low fat diet could save their lives. Prevention, self-treatment and even blood pressure lowering medications cost pennies compared to the money many will spend on emergency medical care or long term treatment if they continue to live an intentionally, unhealthy lifestyle.

Let’s discuss “good fats” to include in your otherwise low fat diet. In addition to transporting vitamins, protecting the body and filling us with energy, some of these fats are deemed so essential because they deliver omega-6 and omega-3, which the body cannot make on its own but relies very heavily upon. These essential fatty acids help the body to regulate hormones, stimulate the metabolism and boost the immune system, thereby fighting off cancer, preventing blood clots, controlling cell growth and regulating all intracellular processes.

“Bad fats” are trans fats: margarines, shortening, deep fried chips, fast food, baked goods, hydrogenated vegetable oil. The reason they are considered bad is that they’re known for lowering HDL cholesterol, which is the kind your body needs to function, as well as increasing triglycerides and LDL cholesterol, which is the bad cholesterol that leads to heart disease and diabetes. Saturated fats found in chocolate, butter, cheese, red meats, coconuts, ice cream and full fat milk should also be limited for the same reasons. Fat from these sources should be 16 grams or less for a 2,000 calorie low diet. For those looking for a weight loss cure, the saturated fats should be less than 12 grams.

In addition to a low fat diet, exercise is a vital component of your new, healthier lifestyle. Countless studies have shown that just 30 minutes of exercise, four days a week can help lower triglycerides and bad cholesterol, while raising HDL cholesterol. Contrary to popular belief, the exercise need not be as strenuous as running or aerobics. Biking, swimming, cross-country skiing, skating and brisk walking can elevate the heart rate enough to give the body all the health benefits needed.

Always choose a recognized diet plan rather than just the latest diet to hit the market. One of the best places to find a quality diet is at the Top 10 Diets chart where the diet plans are proven to work and ranked in the order users rated them.
